Cash Paid For Your Junk Car in New York (NY)
We got our start in the junk car business in New
York City. The ultra-competitive business environment inherent in
NYC proved very helpful as we expanded into New York State, and the
rest of the United States.
At 54,556 square miles, New York State is only the 27th largest of
the 50 U.S. States, but is the third largest by population. With
over 19 million residents, New York ranks third to only California
and Texas as far as population.
New York City and its surrounding counties in New York State account
for over 13 million of the 19 million in population. Despite the
fact that New York State has thousands of square miles of rolling
hills and fields, 92% of the population lives in large urban areas.
New York was named after the Duke of York, James Stuart, the 17th
Century nobleman who eventually became King James II of England and
King James the VII of Scotland. Over the last 200 years New York has
been known as the central hub of immigration from Europe, Africa,
and the Middle East. New York City remains one of the largest and
most heterogeneous cities on earth.
While New York City remains the epitome of the modern urban center,
much of New York State retains the feel of rural Pennsylvania and
many of the Midwestern/Great Lakes states. The strange dichotomy of
urban density and rural beauty continue to mark New York as one of
the most diverse states; demographically, economically,
geographically, and culturally.
As a result of all of the above, auto removal operations, junk car
firms, and businesses offering fast cash for old cars are a dime a
dozen in NYC. In order to compete and succeed in New York, we
quickly learned that we had to do three things; offer the most cash
for old cars, pick them up on time and for free, and provide strong
customer service for people had many other demands on their time.
We also had to learn to service the thousands of people who don’t
speak English in NYC, as well as earn business from people making
six figures and minimum wage across the state. The auto removal
business is relatively complex in every large market, but never so
complex as it is in the hub of humanity that is NYC.
We’re proud to call New York our home, and most proud of the fact
that we have been able to succeed on the national level in the junk
car/auto removal business because of the lessons that we’ve learned
here at home.
